New Buffalo celebrates in the success and impact of all our client’s products. We know that our work in creating your t-shirts is a direct reflection on both our companies.
A niche local scuba-diving line called Amphibious Outfitters (A/O) is one success story we are extremely proud of. Early in 1990 Scott Garbutt, along with New Buffalo Creative Director Dave Gardner and Staff Artist Andy Wenner designed a scuba-lifestyle line of wearable that were fresh and new to a then untapped market.
New Buffalo has worked closely with A/O on brand development and merchandising their line for over 20 years. From the dreams of few, this t-shirt line has grown to 85 fresh designs annually and can be found in 1200 retail outlets in 85 countries.
Scott Garbutt, owner of Amphibious Outfitters credits the efforts of the talented New Buffalo staff with the line’s success. “The vision of New Buffalo, with their product development and specialized technique printing played a large roll in where our company is today. The do-whatever-it-takes to help meet deadlines attitude to get my product in the marketplace helps guarantee me p.o.’s in this now competitive marketplace. The quality far surpasses other printers I’ve seen and we always receive a premium product for a very fair price.” For more information about Amphibious Outfitters and their line of amazing dive apparel, contact them at (716) 430-6060, or via email at a.o@att.net

NBSF & L.I.F.E. support the community after the crash of Continental flight 3407 in Clarence, New York

On February 12, 2009, our small town of Clarence, NY was touched by the sadness of the crash landing of Continential Airlines Flight 3407 just miles from New Buffalo Shirts Headquarters. The loss of 51 lives that night touched our entire community with sadness.

As a community we were all heartbroken and needed to find a way to begin to heal. We were all looking for a way to help in any way we can to help our neighbors at this sad time of united grief and loss. Jon & Linda Weiss, owners of NBSF and partners in the L.I.F.E. – Love Is For Everyone line of shirts quickly decided to use that positive message of love to help unite the community. They quickly organized a foundation (L.I.F.E.line) to raise money for the survivors. then got friends, family and employees on board using the best way they knew – a simple message on a simple t-shirt.
Brainstorming with artist Dave Gardner, a broken heart shirt with a textured band-aid was designed, created and put on press within 24 hours of their initial concept. Grass Roots efforts began to grow as local community members joined with the New Buffalo staff to get the shirts printed and distributed to the public while demand and need were the greatest. With every $10 donation to L.I.F.E.Line, New Buffalo provided a free broken-heart graphic tee shirt to help show the message of concern, love and hope to our community.
Several mass public distribution sites were scheduled in the area, local businesses, school organizations and public relation firms got on board to help supply L.I.F.E. shirts and message to thousands in Western New York, with encouragement to wear their shirts as a sign of public support and healing.
We used the message of L.I.F.E. in a positive effort to help unite us in getting through this difficult time together. The needs of the families affected by this tragedy go way beyond what any of us imagined. "The financial donation to a special fund for the victims families and your support by wearing the L.I.F.E. message truly send a positive message that Love Is For Everyone and will help lessen the hurt of so many, when they need it most" said Linda Weiss during the whirlwind of radio & TV interviews to help rally support for donations.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Erie County Executive Chris Collins recognized the Weiss’s along with the L.I.F.E. partners and New Buffalo employees for their philanthropic efforts by designating March 10th as an official Day of Caring” at a news press conference. To date the L.I.F.E. Foundation has raised over $40,000 that is now being distributed to the families affected by the crash.
New Buffalo has received many heartfelt notes of thanks and appreciation for their efforts from those directly effected by the crash. Many stating that when they see the broken heart shirts around town, they are reminded that they are not alone, proving that the message of Love Is For Everyone has the power to heal.
